oh what a beautiful morning

This is a cover I did for the Oklahoma Gazette. The assignment was to transform the leader of a local energy concern into something of a Willy Wonka character. I liked working for the Gazette and I hope I get to again soon. The whole time I was working on this I had the Oklahoma! soundtrack going through my head, it was great.

Derailed

This is a piece I did for the Madison Isthmus a while back. I think it had to do with a story about children and hobbies. It was nice because I got to use my nephew Miles as reference for the boy and he loves trains.

"O" Face

This is an Obama illustration I did a while back to drum up some work. I like to use Obama as subject matter from time to time because he usually gets me a couple more gigs.

More Me

Sometimes when I want to sketch something quickly or dick around with Photoshop I'll just draw another self portrait. And today is no different. So here is yet another self portrait.

iron what?

I love the character of Iron Fist, he's so cool. The next big comic book movie should really be about him, he tackles issues!

Fans

With World Cup going on I remembered an illustration about rowdy fans I did for Philadelphia Weekly a while back. I find it funny whenever I have to do something related to sports because I am just so painfully ignorant on the subject.
